Integrated Battery Heating

The WB12200 features an integrated battery heating system, allowing reliable charging and operation in cold weather where many conventional lithium batteries struggle.

Unlike lead acid batteries, LiFePO₄ batteries cannot be safely charged below 0°C. In cold conditions, the battery's management system will limit or prevent charging to protect the cells.

To overcome this, the WB12200 automatically heats the battery to a safe charging temperature.

Users can choose between:

  • Charge Heat Mode – Automatically heats the battery before charging in cold conditions.
  • Keep Warm Mode – Maintains the battery above freezing, keeping it ready for use.
